ldeep acquired accounting qualifications (C.A.) in 2002 from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand. In an ongoing effort to update his skills, he reinforced his technical knowledge in the field of taxation by acquiring a master's degree (M.Tax) from the University of Auckland in 2008.
Kuldeep migrated to New Zealand with his young family from New Delhi, the capital city of India, in 1998. He has a chartered accounting qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). In India, he managed an accounting practice and worked in senior management positions with medium sized manufacturing companies. He also held a directorship in an apparel manufacturing and exporting company and helped it grow from a privately managed business to a public company with listing on the Stock Exchange.
In New Zealand Kuldeep has worked in both small and larger chartered accounting firms for 11 years. He quickly moved to positions of responsibility and gained the trust of clients and his employers. Kuldeep has trained and managed a number of accountants and provided in-house support across the firm and resolved complex tax issues.
By combining his strong technical knowledge with a professional and meticulous work style, Kuldeep has saved thousands of dollars for tax payers through effective tax planning. Being analytical and equipped with a clear understanding of NZ tax laws, he manages complex tax and business problems to the best advantage of his clients.

VINOD DEWAN - CONSULTANT - Strategy and Business Development

Vinod has recently come on board as a Consultant – Strategy and Business Development. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, current member of CA ANZ and a cost and works accountant ICWA from overseas. He is a registered business mentor helping existing SMEs in streamlining business processes, business growth and development.

He has practical experience of 40+ years at Senior management level in the field of Financial & Accounting management, working in multinational organizations and public sector in various countries across different continents mainly within Asia Pacific region including New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Japan, India and China. He has managed teams of up to 110 staff in different countries.
Vinod is passionate about identifying and mitigating the gaps in financial controls and processes. He takes pride in ensuring that financial reporting maintains high levels of integrity at all times. Vinod has been a statutory director on the board of regional subsidiary companies in APAC and has been an active member of global Risk & Compliance committee representing regional finance. He has guided and led the discussion on financial risks during internal and statutory audits, government tax and cross border transfer price audits, as well as M&A due diligence reviews in APAC countries.
His work experience includes working for different industries including Life Science research sector, Warehouse and Logistics – Healthcare consumables and supplies, Paper manufacturing and Soft drink bottling manufacturing and distribution.
He has high level of functional skills in financial reporting (internal and statutory), developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures & controls, financial due diligence, mergers & acquisitions and commercialization of business units for divestures, integration of teams – merging of cultures on acquisitions, lead discussions on governance and financial risk with multi-functional teams, mentoring and the career development of high performers in a dynamic environment.
AARTI KHETARPAL - PRACTICE MANAGER

Aarti works part-time and looks after the administration and IT requirements of the firm. She has a Bachelor of 
Commerce and a Masters in Economics from India where she worked in Human Resources witha computer company. She also has a National Certificate in Computing (Level 3) and Business Administration (Level 4) from New Zealand.
